Sporting Events Tie-Ins

A sporting event tie-in is when you use a particular sporting event as a theme to tie in your company, organization, product or service to the event itself. In other words, you may be using an upcoming event to provide exposure for your company.

Let’s use the minor league baseball example. Let’s say there is an upcoming game for the local team on a Saturday night. You have arranged with the owner to sponsor a car wash for a local charity that the team supports in the parking lot midday Saturday of the game.

You set up the event to tie in with your company name, the charity name and the baseball team name. You provide some giveaways, such as tickets to the game, etc. You are doing something for a good cause and gain genuine positive exposure for your efforts.

Budget: $500 - $2,500 quarterly
