Special Events

Special events are a great way to bring your team together and create positive exposure for your company.

There are a variety of event types that you can choose from. If a local charity is important to you, host your own event and give them the proceeds or sponsor one of their events. Either way, everyone wins for a good cause.

Let’s say you have several suppliers/vendors who are a key part of your business success in terms of costs, delivery, quality, etc. Perhaps you select the top vendor from each category and invite them to a ½ day event focused on continuous improvement practices as it relates to your business.

Everyone benefits from this by taking away one or more things that will help them serve you better, as well as their other clients.

No matter what the event, be sure you toot your horn – put it in the local papers, on your website, in your newsletter. Whatever the venue or format, get some exposure.

Plan on promoting, advertising and marketing your event to the people who you know will get the most value from the event.
