Social Networks - Social on line networks have become the soul behind much of the websites and data of the internet.

Social networks have been extensions of groups or clusters of like types of individuals who voluntarily join together in a community beyond walls.

These can be by geography, but also by ages, interests, experiences or values and beliefs.

Social networks communities are designed to bring people together. MySpace, Facebook and Second Life and YouTube are just four of many sites that are currently incorporating some social or sharing aspect to their sites. Del.icio.us, StumbleUpon and Flickr are great examples of share-based social networks.

Marketing using social networks is time conusming and requires a lot of planning and focus. Some companies are designating a social media director who oversees all the advertising, marketing and social media marketing planning, activities and successes.
