Similar to using illustrations to sell products, effective photography can be the key to selling your product.

The photography can be used to simply depict your product, the result of using your product or consumers using your product.

Let’s look at some examples of this. A high end hunting ranch will show you photography on their brochure or web site that may show the hunting lodge, the beauty of the area and trophy animals that were harvested. This creates strong interest on the part of the consumer.

A brochure for new automobiles will include photos of the vehicles themselves. This in itself creates a strong desire to buy.

A footwear manufacturer will want to feature their products on a model’s feet as part of their visual selling.
