Mastermind Group

Mastermind Group - The principle of The MasterMind Group was first documented by Napoleon Hill in his self help book, Think And Grow Rich.  Borrowing from scripture the idea that where two or more people are gathered together in a spirit of support and harmony, there a third mind is formed which channels providence, the universe or a power greater then one's self.

Hill’s concept of the “Master Mind” was inspired by Andrew Carnegie, wealthy steel magnate. According to Hill:

“Mr. Carnegie’s Master Mind group consisted of a staff of approximately fifty men, with whom he surrounded himself, for the DEFINITE PURPOSE of manufacturing and marketing steel. He attributed his entire fortune to the POWER he accumulated through this ‘Master Mind.’”

Within the past twenty-five years, many have taken this idea and formalized and ritualized it to a support group and visioning style of meeting. These include Reverend Jack Boland, Mark Victor Hansen, Michael Wickett and several others.

Key to the MasterMind Groups is moving beyond the problem as it appears and creating a consciousness of moving forward in to a solution. It is not a whine or bull session. Some individuals can not move past them. A key to success using the MasterMind principle is that it needs to be upbeat and as positive as possible;.
