Here is what you do - host or sponsor a business boot camp of your own around a theme showcasing your expertise.

Plan the event for your potential clients and even your suppliers.

Charge them a fee to attend to cover all expenses. Lead the event yourself or bring in a partner to help lead the event. (you can even sponsor an event about a topic of which you are not an expert, but would like to be, such as marketing). Make sure you pre-screen him or her, before committing. Make it a valuable learning experience for everyone, while also fun and entertaining, while creating some very effective business networking.

You will get a huge lift from this – quality contacts, great opportunities and a wealth of new knowledge.

If you just don’t think you can pull this event off alone, partner up with other businesses who will benefit from doing so. You will be surprised at the results! Even make it a regularly scheduled event – every quarter or semi-annually.
