Avatars

Avatars are graphical images representing people.

They are what you are in virtual worlds.

You can build a visual character with attributes, such as the body, clothes, behaviours, gender and name of your choice.

This may or may not be rooted in an authentic representation of yourself.

These are also relatively simple to render, in just a few minutes.

An example is someone who works a traditional office position may use his avitar to represent rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking, all interests that he may pursue on his vacations and off hours. 

There are many avatar and icon makers website to help you create avatars, emoticons, smileys and pictures for facebook, twitter, Myspace, blogs, web sites, chat programs or just for fun!

Plan on finding or create your personal avatar and don't forget to work it into your social media marketing.
